Humberside Fire: Community Asset Register - Could you Help in an Emergency?

Dear Resident

We’re reaching out to local farmers, landowners and businesses who may be able to support the fire service during incidents in rural areas.

When emergencies occur in locations such as fields and farms, access to water and specialist machinery can sometimes be more challenging. In these situations, support from local people can make a real difference in helping us respond quickly and effectively.

We’re inviting you to join our Community Asset Register, a trusted list of local contacts who may be able to offer assistance if it is safe and appropriate to do so.

You may be able to help if you have access to:

Your involvement would always be:

✔ Voluntary with no obligation

✔ Requested only when appropriate

✔ Used to support (not replace) emergency crews

Recent incidents have shown just how valuable local support can be in protecting farmland, property and the wider community.

By joining the register, you could help us respond more effectively and help protect your land, your livelihood, and your local area.
